Brent started work in a Chartered Accounting practice in 1989 after graduating from Bendigo College of Advance Education
(Now La Trobe University) with a degree in Accounting. In 1991 he commenced additional studies to become
a Chartered Accountant. Brent joined Sheridan Partners in 1996 and became a partner on 1 July 2000, specialising in
business advice, taxation and self-managed superannuation funds.

Within the community, Brent is Treasurer of the Stanhope Football Netball Club, Treasurer of the Kyabram Northern Oval Committee of Management, Chairperson & Director of the Kyabram & District Community Bendigo Bank, Secretary Manager of Aldersyde Estate Body Corporate and also involved in various other community activities.

He has lived in the Goulburn Valley all his life, growing up in Shepparton and now living in Kyabram with his wife and two children.

His interests include music, travelling, cooking and various sporting activities.
